After picking up a running back earlier this week, Georgia Tech picked up a commitment from Fort Myers, FL native CB Greg Delaine, Jr. Delaine announced his decision on Twitter

Standing at 6-1, 185 pounds, Delaine is rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals (5.5) and unrated on the 247 Sports Composite. He committed to Georgia Tech over other reported offers from Iowa State, Mississippi State, and a few others. CB coach Jeff Popovich is listed as his primary recruiter. Let’s take a look at his junior film!
Unfortunately, a good bit of his highlights showcase his receiving skills instead of those as a defensive back. But what we do see is that he plays a pretty good zone coverage, keeping his eyes on the QB. Being a receiver, he also has pretty decent hands. It’s tough to gauge more of his coverage abilities with this, but there are a couple decent clips in there. I’m excited to see what he can do on the Flats!
Welcome to the Flats!
