Good news for the weekend! Geoff Collins and company picked up another recruit in the form of Crisp County safety Sirad Bryant!

Bryant stands at 6-foot-1, 184 pounds and is rated as a three-star recruit by both Rivals (5.6) and the 247 Sports Composite (0.8677). He committed to Georgia Tech over the rest of his top five teams: Ole Miss, Nebraska, South Florida and Kansas. Bryant is the third defensive back of the 2021 class, joining Shawn Chappell and Kaleb Edwards, and is the 19th commit overall.

There’s a lot to like in Bryant’s film. His natural position is safety, but he does have a few receiver highlights as well. Watching him at safety, he does a good job diagnosing the play and making adjustments on the fly. In general, he lets the play happen in front of him and reacts, but he is not afraid to come up and make contact. And when he does, he’s got pretty solid closing speed to make the tackle. Playing receiver, he also has pretty soft hands, which will help when he’s playing safety that much easier.
