247 Sports is reporting that wide receiver Adonicas Sanders has committed to Georgia Tech over other reported offers from Western Carolina and Presbyterian. He also received interest from Wake Forest and South Carolina.
Sanders is unrated by the 247Sports Composite and is rated as a two-star recruit (5.2) and just got finished with his official visit to Georgia Tech this past weekend.
In addition to having good size at 6-1, 190 pounds, Sanders has a pretty nice set of wheels. His speed isn’t exactly “blazing,” but it’s good enough to be at the next level.
He’s also more than serviceable as a receiver, being able to get up and make some solid catches. The main areas he’ll need to work on at the next level are route running and going up against better competition, both of which he’ll get the opportunity to do at Georgia Tech.
