Georgia Tech Recruiting Roundup 6/3: Jackets to Host Camp This Weekend

Georgia Tech hosts a recruiting camp this weekend, which will hopefully have productive results

NCAA Football: Georgia Tech at Virginia Amber Searls-USA TODAY Sports

Things seem to have died down in the way of offers on the recruiting trail over the past week or so. As has been well-documented, the Yellow Jackets still currently only have one commitment in the 2017 class, even as the calendar has turned to June. However, Georgia Tech hosts a recruiting camp this weekend, which will hopefully be fruitful. The hope from coaches is that some more potential targets or even commitments could come by the end of the weekend -- so keep an eye out! (Warning: "Georgia Tech University" alert...)

Still, there was one new offer this week.

Tavyn Jackson, DB, 5'10", 170 pounds

Jackson is a three-star corner out of Tallahassee, Fla. He had 58 tackles and 15 passes defended last season, according to MaxPreps. Some of Jackson's other offers include Florida, Clemson, and Mississippi State.

Here's a list of all of the prospects that we've covered in this series thus far that Georgia Tech has offered:
