Martin is a three-star player (5.5 according to Rivals) who projects to play either defensive tackle or strongside defensive end. He currently stands at 6'2" 265 lbs., according to his Hudl page. He is currenlty unrated by 247Sports
Martin committed to Georgia Tech over reported offers from Boston College, Appalachian State and Kentucky. He joins Xavier Gantt and Jakob Brashear as Georgia Tech's 2016 recruiting class.
With this commitment, Tech's 2016 class currently stands at No. 55 according to Rivals and No. 76 by 247Sports (who has yet to report Martin's commitment).
Below are the highlights from his junior season. Watching them, you will be able to check out his bull rush technique that will be very beneficial for him. It was also good to see some of his other moves, like his spin move to get out of a double team early on in the clips.
Congrats to Chris and his family on his commitment to a fine Institute and a very excited team and fanbase!
What are your thoughts on Chris from viewing his film? Where does he fit in with the Yellow Jackets?
