Dolphus is a local product, committing to Georgia Tech from Westside High School in Macon, GA -- also the alma mater of former Yellow Jacket LB Julian Burnett. Dolphus is the highest-rated prospect to come from Westside since 2010.
At 6'5", 200 pounds, Dolphus very much fits the mold of bigger recent Georgia Tech wide receivers, such as Darren Waller (6'6", 235 pounds) and Stephen Hill (6'5", 210 pounds).
The commitment comes on the heels of a visit to the Flats for Georgia Tech's game against Pittsburgh.
Dolphus is a three-star wide receiver prospect (5.5 per Rivals, .8600 per 247Sports Composite), and committed to Georgia Tech over offers from Florida, Louisville, Mississippi State, and several other FBS-level programs.
