Happy Homecoming! Whether you’re at the game or watching from home, I hope you’re having a great day! Go Jackets!

As always, play nice in the comments!

Score Predictions

Ben: Georgia Tech wins 37-27. I think this game sets up very well for a win for the good guys that will propel Geoff Collins to his highest win total on the Flats. I think (read hope) Davey P will give us a heavy focus on the run game. I think VPI will be able to get some points, but I don’t think their offense is good enough to keep up with Tech’s.

Robert: Georgia Tech wins 31-21. Check out my advanced stats preview for the why!

Austin: Georgia Tech wins 30-17. Jeff Sims cuts his turnovers by trusting his legs to rather than taking risks with his arm, and the D clamps down thanks to little deep threat from Braxton Burmeister. I expect the linebackers to have a good game and for this one never to really be close. Bowl season is within our grasp.

Carter: Virginia Tech wins 41-24. Virginia Tech is reeling. Justin Fuente is out of goodwill in Blacksburg and looks to be headed for an acrimonious split. The stage is perfectly set.... for the Hokies to roll into Atlanta and flatten Georgia Tech. Geoff Collins’ post-game Waffle House is at a Huddle House, again, because he’s the trick, not the treat.

Sammy: GT covers the four-point spread but weather could make this a more low-scoring game than I initially anticipated. 24-17 Jackets.
