Georgia Tech Football: QB James Graham ruled academically ineligible for the bowl game

Well, that’s not great

Rivals’ Kelly Quinlan is reporting that freshman quarterback James Graham has been ruled academically ineligible for Georgia Tech’s bowl game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

In what’s already been an interesting story, the roller coaster continues. Graham came in as a quarterback and was expected to redshirt. During some early practices, Graham started to get some reps at wide receiver, but after Lucas Johnson’s injury, Graham made the move back to quarterback and served as the third-string quarterback for the entire season behind TaQuon Marshall and Tobias Oliver.

Graham appeared in three games for the Yellow Jackets this season. In those three games, he completed his only attempted pass for 22 yards in a game against UGA. He also had five carries for 27 yards.
