The Yellow Jackets are on the road today, set to play only their second true road game of the year in Chapel Hill against the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Jackets come in at 5-3 (2-3), on a two-game winning streak against Georgia Southern and Duke. The offense improved over the course of October, while the defense degraded, resulting in some high-scoring games and a 2-2 record for the month. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels enter the game at 6-2 (4-1) and ranked 18th in the country, having won 6 of their last 7. They’re led by QB Mitch Trubisky, who’s #3 in the country with a 71.2% completion percentage and only 2 interceptions all year (tied for second among QB’s with at least 150 pass attempts).
Georgia Tech will be without backup B-Back Marcus Marshall and starting A-Back J.J. Green due to injuries suffered during the Duke game, but will get back starting B-Back Dedrick Mills and starting B-Back P.J. Davis after both missed the game against the Blue Devils.
