It’s Senior Day on the Flats today, as Georgia Tech tries to send off its seniors with a win over the division foe Virginia Cavaliers. The Yellow Jackets are coming in off of a big win last week over Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, and have won 3 of their past 4 games after starting the year at 3-3. The Cavaliers, under first-year head coach Bronco Mendenhall, come in on a five-game losing streak, including a 34-14 home loss last week against Miami. At 2-8, Virginia is already eliminated from bowl eligibility and will have nothing to gain in this game — but also nothing to lose. Meanwhile, the Jackets should have starting QB Justin Thomas, starting AB J.J. Green, and starting C Freddie Burden back in this game after all missed last week’s game with injuries, and their counterparts on defense will look to build on a huge performance in Blacksburg last week.
