Today is a pivotal game for the Yellow Jackets, as they look to get the season back on track after a pair of losses to top-10 Clemson and Miami teams. They enter at 3-2, having shown some inconsistency on offense that has struggled to match up with overall good defensive outputs. They travel to Pittsburgh today for the first time since 2014, when the Panthers fumbled five times in the first quarter en route to a 56-28 win for the Yellow Jackets. Last year’s rendition of this matchup saw Georgia Tech’s offense move the ball well, though the Panthers emerged victorious on a last-second, school-record 56-yard field goal. The Yellow Jackets are looking for revenge today, and trying to gain some momentum as they head into the back half of their season.
