POSTGAME THREAD: Football is Back and Georgia Tech Dominated 69-6

After a long wait, football has finally returned and it was everything we could have hoped for.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Well guys, that was fun. In what turned out to be a serious mismatch, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets completely dismantled the Alcorn State Braves 69-6, after leading 48-0 at the end of half time.

The main thing I want to touch on before I open it up for discussion is what happened at B-back. Coming into the season, people thought there would be some issues, but I think it's safe to say that those were put to rest pretty quickly. Grad student Patrick Skov set the pace after getting the start and finished the game with 12 carries for 72 yards and three touchdowns. The real story, though, was true freshman Marcus Marshall, who finished the game with eight carries for 184 yards and two touchdowns. If these two can keep going like this, it's going to be a fun season.

What stood out to you? What happens from here?
