After being declared academically ineligible nearly a year ago, the time has finally come. Jabari Hunt-Days is academically eligible for the 2015 season. The first report came from Kelly Quinlan over at Rivals ($). If you don't want to pay for a story, you can check out Ken Sugiura's story at the AJC.
Paul Johnson never seemed too worried about Hunt-Day's eligibility. He, like the rest of us, were pretty excited to find out the great news.
“I’m happy for him,” Johnson said. “He’s worked hard to get back out there. He got it accomplished. I think (the grades) have to be posted or something, but we’re pretty confident he’s good.”
Getting Hunt-Days back is fantastic news for the Yellow Jackets defense. He will likely join Adam Gotsis as the other starting defensive tackle, which should allow Pat Gamble to slide over and play strongside defensive end.
Congrats Jabari! Welcome back! What impact will he have on the Yellow Jackets' defense this season?
