Georgia Tech Football: Yellow Jackets to Add Stanford FB Patrick Skov as Transfer

The fifth-year senior will provide an immediate boost in depth at B-Back.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

As was alluded to over the last couple of weeks and analyzed by our own Kevin Pate yesterday, Patrick Skov has officially announced that he will transfer to Georgia Tech in the tweet seen below.

Skov will seek an MBA from Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business as a fifth-year senior. The former fullback and linebacker will play B-Back in Georgia Tech's offense, where he'll add some very much-needed depth to a group looking to replace three graduated seniors and an injured C.J. Leggett. Skov only recorded 14 carries over three years of playing at Stanford (two years as a fullback, one as a linebacker), but his big 6'1", 235-pound frame will be invaluable in supplementing three true freshmen and recent linebacker convert Marcus Allen.

Congratulations and welcome to Patrick Skov! Excited to have him on board? How much do you foresee him impacting Georgia Tech's offense?
