Georgia Tech Football: Jackets in the NFL - Week 12

The Yellow Jackets had a couple big Thanksgiving games.

Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB, San Diego Chargers (2010-2013)

Jeremiah Attaochu played as the San Diego Chargers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-25. Attaochu did his part by getting a tackle and a pass deflection.

Morgan Burnett, S, Green Bay Packers (2007-2009)

Morgan Burnett had a solid day for the Packers on Thanksgiving as they lost to the Chicago Bears 17-13 in overtime. Burnett finished with seven tackles (six solo).

Mario Butler, CB, Buffalo Bills (2007-2009)

Mario Butler played as a reserve in the Bills' 30-22 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Butler accounted for a tackle.

Calvin Johnson, WR, Detroit Lions (2004-2006)

Calvin Johnson had his best game of the season as he carried the Detroit Lions to a Thanksgiving victory over the Philadelphia Eagles 45-14. He finished the game with eight catches for 93 yards and three touchdowns. He is this week's Top Pro Jacket. Here's one of those three:

Michael Johnson, DE, Cincinnati Bengals (2005-2008)

Michael Johnson played in the Bengals' 31-7 victory over the St. Louis Rams. He didn't record any stats, but he did get a hit on the quarterback.

Shaquille Mason, OG, New England Patriots (2011-2014)

Shaq Mason played and started as the New England Patriots fell in overtime to the Denver Broncos 30-24.

Daryl Smith, LB, Baltimore Ravens (2000-2003)

Daryl Smith didn't do much for the Ravens as they beat the Browns 33-27 Monday night. He finished the game with just three tackles.

Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver Broncos (2006-2008)

Demaryius Thomas really couldn't do much in the Broncos' 30-24 overtime victory over the New England Patriots. He caught just one pass for 36 yards despite being targeted a team-leading 13 times.

Vance Walker, DE, Denver Broncos (2005-2008)

Vance Walker had one tackle in the win over the Patriots. It was a sack.

Brandon Watts, LB, Minnesota Vikings (2009-2013)

Brandon Watts was on the roster and played as the Vikings beat the Falcons 20-10. Watts didn't record any stats though.

Philip Wheeler, LB, Atlanta Falcons (2003-2007)

Philip Wheeler had a good game in the Falcons 20-10 loss to the Vikings. Wheeler led the team in tackles with 11 (six solo).

Did Not Play

Stephen Hill, WR for the Carolina Panthers, was placed on the IR prior to the start of the season. And DeAndre Smelter, WR for the San Francisco 49ers, was placed on the Non-Football Injury Reserve prior to the season. Andrew Gardner of the Philadelphia Eagles was placed on the injured reserve after suffering a foot injury in Week 3. Darren Waller of the Baltimore Ravens was placed on the injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 8.

Isaiah Johnson, S for the Detroit Lions, was on the roster for the game, but was listed as an inactive. Derrick Morgan didn't play this week after missing practice Thursday and Friday with a shoulder injury.
