Last week, FTRS projected that Georgia Tech would be headed to the Music City Bowl as the ACC's #6 selection, to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores. Nothing much has changed, although I'm starting to join the hivemind that says they won't be playing against Vandy. Many are guessing the opponent will be Ole Miss, which is entirely conceivable as I see it. For a list of others' projections...
Stewart Mandel, Sports Illustrated -- Music City Bowl vs Ole Miss
Erick Smith, USA Today -- Music City Bowl vs Ole Miss
Jason Kirk, SB Nation -- Music City Bowl vs Ole Miss
Christopher Wilson, Yahoo!/Dr. Saturday -- Music City Bowl vs Ole Miss
So basically, the writing is on the wall there. I can't find a major source that says anything else, game-wise or opponent wise.
Excited about a December 30 game in Nashville? Do you think we'll be playing elsewhere, or against someone else? Are you like me and afraid of being picked by the Belk Bowl or Independence Bowl?
