Georgia Tech Football: Jeremiah Attaochu Named First Team Coaches' All-ACC, Shaq Mason Third Team

The accolades continue to roll in for these young men, this time from the coaches' selections.

A new All-ACC team was released by the conference's coaches yesterday, and it featured two Jackets we're familiar with hearing about. Senior DE Jeremiah Attaochu was named first team All-ACC by the coaches, and Junior OG Shaquille Mason was named third team All-ACC. They're joined by David Sims, who was named honorable mention. The list is a little strange, as it completely ignores RB Robert Godhigh (who leads the conference in Total Offense per Play and Yards per Carry, and is 10th in Total Rushing Yards) and DB Jemea Thomas (who was also snubbed by last week's selections). Couple that with Mason falling from first team to third team in this round, and one starts to scratch their head a little bit.

Last week, we learned that Mason was named first team All-ACC and Attaochu second team by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA). They were joined by RBs Robert Godhigh & David Sims and OL Will Jackson as honorable mentions. Check out the link below.

Congratulations to Jeremiah, Shaq, and David on a great season and on the accolades!

Are you disappointed in the snubbing of Godhigh, Jackson, and Thomas on this list? Are they worth recognition by the conference?
