Jemea Thomas turned in a second straight big-time performance this week against Pittsburgh, recording 6 tackles (including 1 tackle-for-loss), and an interception to put the game on ice. He was rewarded with a second straight ACC Defensive Back of the Week acknowledgement.

Thomas had a team-best six solo tackles, a tackle for loss, a pass break-up and his eighth career interception in Saturday’s 21-10 win over Pittsburgh. Thomas, who has 21 tackles over the last two games combined, sealed the victory when he came up with his interception at the Pitt 4-yard line with less than a minute to play.
