With the season now over, forward Sylvester Ogbonda announced via Twitter that he plans to grad transfer for his final season.

Ogbonda saw pretty major playing time in each of his three season with the Yellow Jackets, with most of his work being done in the paint. He will certainly be missed by the Jackets next season, but this does open up another spot.
Leaving with Ogbonda will be seniors Brandon Alston and Abdoulaye Gueye. Currently, the Yellow Jackets have a lot of work to do in order to get caught up in terms of recruiting guys to replace the ones they’re losing. Right now, they have transfer Jordan Usher who will be joining the Yellow Jackets from USC following the conclusion of the Fall 2019 semester.
Best of luck Sylvester!
