Help Wanted! From the Rumble Seat is Looking to add New Writers

As we are starting to move towards basketball season, From the Rumble Seat is looking to add a new writer to the team!

For this position, we are looking for someone who has a passion about Georgia Tech sports. A little bit of experience writing would also be appreciated, but it’s definitely not required. If you’re a Georgia Tech student (or just local to the area), that would also be a plus!

Basketball Staff Writer

Outside of football, the main sport that we cover is basketball. Having someone local would be great, but again, that isn’t required. In terms of what we are looking for, someone who is knowledgeable about basketball rules and college basketball, specifically Georgia Tech ACC. Other things that would be nice to have are knowledge of advanced stats in basketball or an interest in recruiting.

Some more notes about the position:

• Responsibilities usually include game recaps and analysis, but you’re welcome to contribute any other content you’re passionate about.
• This is a part-time, unpaid position.
• You get access to the From the Rumble Seat Slack, which is all the rage these days.
• It’s a lot of fun!
