2014 NCAA Baseball Tournament Bracket: Georgia Tech to Oxford Regional as #3 Seed

On Monday, the NCAA Baseball Tournament Bracket was revealed, and it included the new ACC Champions as a #3 seed in the Oxford, MS regional.

There was doubt that Georgia Tech would make it into the 2014 edition of the NCAA baseball tournament, but that was before the ACC Championship.  Now your ACC champions have an auto-bid and have landed as the third seed in the Oxford regional, which the Jackets could conceivably get out of:

It might be a long shot with the Jackets having to take down the #2 team in the PAC-12 and a good SEC team, but Tech taking home the ACC crown was also highly improbable.  Ole Miss comes in to their regional at 41-18 and were SEC West Champions.  They did not make it to the SEC championship game, however, after losing twice to a surprising Arkansas team.  Washington makes the long trip with a 35-18-1 record, and lost the PAC championship to no. 1 overall seed Oregon State.  They're who worries me the most in the regional, to be honest.  Ole Miss may have some lightning fast players, but they can be beat with some tricky small ball, and that's been the Jacket's specialty all season.  We'll have a more detailed preview of each team in the regional running Wednesday-Friday, so stay tuned!

What do you think about the pairings, Tech fans?  Can this team of determined Jackets get out of the regional alive?
