Georgia Tech's baseball team will play in the NCAA Baseball Tournament this year, serving as the 2-seed in a region that features 1-seed Vanderbilt, 3-seed Illinois, and 4-seed Eastern Tennessee State. They'll start off playing Illinois on Friday at 2pm, and if they win/lose they'll play the winner/loser from Friday evening's Vanderbilt-ETSU game. The tournament is double-elimination style, and whoever wins will advance to the Super Regional to play the winner of the Louisville regional in a Best-of-3 set. Keep reading for more info on the three other teams in our regional!

I'm really not too sure what to make of this bracket, honestly, given our team's erratic nature and the stumbling that Vanderbilt and Illinois had at the end of the season. I do think that Vanderbilt will be a very, very tough out for anyone in the Tournament, much less in the regional. However, baseball is a highly unpredictable game where any team can win any given game, so it'll be interesting to see how this regional turns out. What are your feelings on it? Worried about Vanderbilt?
