Former Georgia Tech Basketball Player Glen Rice Jr. Involved in Atlanta Shooting


Rice was formerly dismissed by Coach Gregory in March of 2012 after Rice was charged with permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle. He's since been involved in the NBA D-League, particularly with the Wizards organization over the last two years before being waived back in January.

Rice is being charged with reckless conduct and possession of marijuana.

Georgia Tech DB Jamal Golden Named Walter Camp Defensive Player of the Week


Golden recorded 9 tackles (7 solo) and hauled in FSU QB Everett Golson's first interception of the year in the Jackets' come-from-behind Homecoming win.

Golden becomes the first Georgia Tech player to win the Walter Camp National Player of the Week award since 2004.
