Among the notable stats is the tidbit that the class is 58/42 male/female for the second year in a row and enrollment in Computing and the Sciences is skyrocketing. Georgia Tech Names Internal Search Committee for New Athletic Director


Georgia Tech President "Bud" Peterson recently named an 8-person search committee headed by Al Trujillo, president and chief operating officer of the Georgia Tech Foundation, Inc. to recommend candidates for the newly vacated position of Director of Athletics. While the committee may still employ the services of a search firm to aid them in the search, the 8-person committee consists of current faculty and staff, community leaders, and 2 students. In the meantime, former Senior Associate Director of Athletics Paul Griffin has been selected to serve as interim Director of Athletics.
