Week 12 has come and gone meaning this is the last week big week of the regular season. results up to now.

4 way tie at the top this week, each of which had 8 out of 11 correct picks. Good job to Ched C., mrbuzz1885, chilidogringsfo, and Steven for pulling out the top picks.

Looking at the top 5; kjjrb has been losing ground but still has the top spot with 83 correct picks, Coin Flip and Ched C. are tied with 80 , GTbadCarma close behind with with 79, and EducationalEngineer with 76. This week is the last big one with multiple picks and it has 26 picks in total, so anyone can take the final. Best of luck everyone.

We did it. We really did it. We got six wins so we will be bowling for the first time in 5 years. I’m so happy I almost don’t care what happens this week. That said, I gotta fire in my soul that can only be extinguished by watching uga lose. That’s right, it’s hate week and I am full of rage. II hope our boys put in the fight like they have all season. I don’t know if we can win (which I could say about any matchup with uga in the past 5 years) but I do hope we can put up a fight and make dwag fans sweat a bit. If we win, cherry on top of what has been a fantastic season. Thanks Brent Key for bringing me the happiest football season I’ve had in a long time.

This is Rivalry week for most teams this week. I gotta burn through 26 games, so I’ll be keeping things short for most of them. If I missed any rivalries let me know in the comment section and I’ll try to remember for next year.

Had to get this article out early this week. Games start Thursday night so submit your picks before then to make sure your picks are counted.

picks:

Clean Old-Fashioned Hate:
uga (-23.0) @ Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Logan: The dwags haven’t looked great, frankly I think we have played well enough against good teams that we should be able to beat the spread if nothing else... Yeah, that’s what I’m gonna tell myself. Still pretty happy about the season in general so I’m just riding the high regardless of how this plays out.

Logan’s pick: Yellow Jackets

Egg Bowl:
#13 Ole Miss Rebels (-11.5) @ Mississippi State Bulldogs

Logan: Mississippi State has lost big against most SEC teams with half decent offenses. Despite the cowbell and Mississippi State needing to win to make a bowl, I think Ole Miss has this one handily.

Logan’s pick: Ole Miss

The Heroes Game (missed opportunity for corn puns)
#16 Iowa Hawkeyes @ Nebraska Cornhuskers (-1.0)

Logan: Who picked the name of this game. It’s dumb. Nebraska has not found their footing to get to a bowl game the past 3 weeks. Iowa keeps finding ways to win without an offense, and with the spread being what it is I’m picking Iowa.

Logan’s pick: Iowa

UTSA Roadrunners @ Tulane Green Wave (-3.0)

Logan: There have been a few games Tulane has only won by 2 points... Still going with Tulane though.

Logan’s pick: Tulane

Battle Line Rivalry:
#9 Mizzou Tigers (-7.0) @ Arkansas Razorbacks

Logan: Mizzou is good, Arkansas is not... no point in overthinking this.

Logan’s pick: Mizzou

Texas Tech Red Raiders @ #7 Texas Longhorns (-13.5)

Logan: Texas has been stumbling in their past few matchups. Texas can’t seem to beat the spread... with a decent size to this spread I’ll say Texas Tech covers.

Logan’s pick: Texas Tech

The Civil War:
#11 Oregon State Beavers @ #6 Oregon Ducks (-11.5)

Logan: Not confident on this one, but I think Oregon State deserves better than a -11.5 spread after how they played last week against Washington.

Logan’s pick: Oregon State

Sunshine Showdown:
#4 Florida State Seminoles (-11.5) @ Florida Gators

Logan: I still expect FSU to win, but I think Florida can take advantage of FSU missing their Heisman Candidate QB. I’ll go with Florida to cover.

Logan’s pick: Florida

Iron Bowl: #8 Alabama Crimson Tide (-14.5) @ Auburn Tigers

Logan: Considering Auburn lost to New Mexico State last week by a sizeable margin... yeah, more than 2 touchdowns seems fair for Alabama to win by. I’ll take Alabama.

Logan’s pick: Alabama

Apple Cup:
Washington State Cougars @ #5 Washington Huskies (-17.0)

Logan: I’ll actually take Washington State to cover in this one given how Washington’s defense has struggled to keep teams in check lately.

Logan’s pick: Washington State

Governor’s Cup:
Kentucky Wildcats @ #10 Louisville Cardinals (-7.0)

Logan: Louisville probably wins by a touchdown and a FG... Kentucky is good, but Louisville is better.

Logan’s pick: Louisville

Texas A&M Aggies @ LSU Tigers (-11.0)

Logan: LSU has got to be the best 8 win team in the NCAA right now. LSU should win by 2 touchdowns.

Logan’s pick: LSU

Duel in the Desert:
#17 Arizona Wildcats (-10.0) @ Arizona State Sun Devils

Logan: Arizona is finishing the season on a hot streak, so sure I’m good with saying they win this game by 10 points.

Logan’s pick: Arizona

Vanderbilt Commodores @ #18 Tennessee Volunteers (-25.5)

Logan: With no basis other than the spread being massive, I’ll say Vanderbilt covers.

Logan’s pick: Vanderbilt

Carolina-State Game:
#20 UNC Tar Heels (-2.0) @ NC State Wolfpack

Logan: um... I genuinely have no idea given how UNC played last week. I guess I’ll take NC State.

Logan’s pick: NC State

Rumble in the Rockies: Colorado Buffalo @ #22 Utah Utes (-21.5)

Logan: Man, Colorado has fallen a long way. I guess I’ll take the Buffalo one last time to see if they cover this huge spread. More bad decisions by me.

Logan’s pick: Colorado

Farmaggedon:
Iowa State Cyclones @ #21 Kansas State Wildcats (-11.5)

Logan: Iowa State put up a good fight against Texas. I’ll pick Iowa State to cover in this one.

Logan’s pick: Iowa State

Land of Lincoln Trophy:
Illinois Fighting Illini (-4.5) @ Northwestern Wildcats

Logan: Illinois needs to win this game to make a bowl. I think Northwestern is a better team overall, but I do think Illinois can find a way to win. I’ll say game ends close and Northwestern at least covers

Logan’s pick: Northwestern

Paul Bunyan’s Axe (or Slab of Bacon Trophy):
Wisconsin Badgers (-2.0) @ Minnesota Golden Gophers

Logan: Minnesota is at home and needs to win this game to make a bowl. Sure lets go with the fun outcome and pick Minnesota.

Logan’s pick: Minnesota

The Palmetto Bowl:
Clemson Tigers (-7.0) @ South Carolina Gamecocks

Logan: Clemson to the moon, buy Clemson stock.

Logan’s pick: Clemson

Battle for the Old Oaken Bucket:
Indiana Hoosiers @ Purdue Boilermakers (-2.5)

Logan: Two 3 win teams here with nothing to lose. Purdue has a better running back, so sure lets go with that to be the deciding factor.

Logan’s pick: Purdue

Battle for the Old Oil Can:
Fresno State Bulldogs (-5.5) v San Diego State Aztecs

Logan: I don’t pretend to watch much Mountain West football, but Fresno State has 8 wins and San Diego State has 3. Give me Fresno to win big.

Logan’s pick: Fresno State

The Bear Bowl: Cal Bears @ UCLA Bruins (-10.0)

Logan: UCLA just dominated USC and USC is significantly more talented that Cal. UCLA wins.

Logan’s pick: UCLA

The Commonwealth Cup/Clash:
Virginia Tech Hokies (-2.0) @ Virginia Cavaliers

Logan: Virginia Tech just makes the most sense in this matchup, no reason for me to expect UVA to win this one.

Logan’s pick: VT

Deeper Than Hate:
Georgia Southern Eagles @ Appalachian State Mountaineers (-8.5)

Logan: Georgia Southern covers, because hate finds a way.

Logan’s pick: Georgia Southern

The Game:
#2 Ohio State Buckeyes @ #3 Michigan Wolverines (-4.0)

Logan: Highlight matchup of the week. This may be the game where Harbaugh’s absence is finally felt. Michigan hasn’t looked dominant without him, and Ohio State might be talented enough to push them to the edge. I’ll go with Ohio State to at least cover in a close matchup.

Logan’s pick: Ohio State
