Now that we’re well into summer, it won’t be too long before the football season is the primary focus for Tech fans (not that it isn’t already). The Stinger Mobile Pass program is returning for the 2021 football season and the price is starting from as little as $145. As mentioned in the article, the program allows for delivery of tickets to your mobile device on gameday. It also includes priority access to the Yellow Jackets’ game against North Carolina at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. For those interested, you can use the link provided for more details. It seems like a good deal and an easy way to assure you can attend all of Tech’s home games.

While this article is primarily focused on Boston College, it does mention Georgia Tech. The article breaks down BC’s 2021 football schedule and ranks its “best” and “worst” rivals. Interestingly, it ranks Georgia Tech as 13th of the 13 teams that are mentioned. In a way this makes sense, the two programs have only faced off against each other 10 times overall. As the article mentions, the Yellow Jackets will be facing off against the Eagles this year in consecutive years for the first time since 2008. So it’s understandable that the two schools aren’t exactly considered rivals. But who knows, things like that can change depending on the nature of the game and how it unfolds. Regardless, it will be a home game for Tech and after losing on the road last season, it would be nice for them to get revenge, rival or not.

Jose Alvarado has made up his mind and will be entering the NBA draft. As much as it would have been great to have him back for another season, entering the draft is perhaps the right move. Alvarado did receive interest from several teams and he has a good chance of being drafted. With the decision, his collegiate career at Tech comes to an end. It goes without saying that the Tech community wishes him the best.
