This article features video footage and Twitter posts of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team participating in its summer training program. Well, technically it’s still spring, but from the looks of it, it must have felt like a summer camp if not BUD/S training. One thing is for certain, head coach Geoff Collins and his coaching staff certainly know how to put together material for a great hype video.

The College Sports Information Directors of America named Georgia Tech offensive lineman Ryan Johnson to the 2020-21 NCAA Division I Academic All-District team in District 4. As the article mentions, to be considered for the recognition, one has to make significant contributions athletically and they must have a minimum grade point average of 3.30. Congratulations to Johnson on this recognition.

Former Yellow Jackets now or formerly in the NBA have been busy as of late. This article features an update on some of their activity — both on the court and off the court. Derrick Favors is assisting the Utah Jazz in their playoff efforts. They’re currently in the semifinals. Thaddeus Young of the Chicago Bulls and Josh Okogie of the Minnesota Timberwolves are also mentioned. Hall of Famer Chris Bosh opens up about his life and career in his new book “Letters to a Young Athlete”. An interesting tidbit from the article, Bosh learned the “art of coding” early on in his life. It’s almost no surprise that he ended up at Tech.
