Congratulations to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets golf team. They earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship, as the article points out. The team is ranked 27th overall and will be the 5th seed in the tournament that will take place between May 17-19. The event will take place at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida. Good luck to the golf team in the upcoming tournament.

This is an insightful article that features an interview with Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets star basketball player Moses Wright. Wright discusses his decision to enter the NBA Draft and forgo his final year of eligibility at Tech. His decision was based on close consultation with head coach Josh Pastner and his family. Pastner seems confident that Wright will be drafted. Wright certainly is a player with great upside and he has a strong work ethic. A lot of times that is all that is needed for a player whose draft stock isn’t very high — as the article states, Wright is rated as the 87th draft prospect by ESPN. Wright was the ACC player of the year this past season, a season in which he displayed his improvement as a basketball player. If he isn’t drafted, Wright has expressed his interest in returning to Tech for another season. Having Wright back for another season or seeing him drafted would be nice. Either way, it’s a win-win situation.

Here’s some more basketball related material. This article focuses on the GOAT question, as in, who could be considered among the greatest players from Georgia Tech’s rich history of basketball legends. The video includes some highlight footage from some of these Yellow Jacket greats. Speaking of which, who are some of your favorite Tech legends and where do you think players like Moses Wright or Jose Alvarado would rank among Yellow Jacket legends?
