This article is focused more on ACC baseball in general, but it does have some specifics regarding Georgia Tech’s baseball team. As an interesting tidbit, Georgia Tech’s head coach Danny Hall is ranked 4th in total victories in NCAA Division I. Hopefully the Yellow Jackets can add to that tally as the season starts drawing to a close (May will be the last month of the regular season). Yesterday the Yellow Jackets got a little revenge against Georgia State. They defeated their cross-city rival 7-2. They’ll have a weekend matchup against Florida State before heading off to Athens, Georgia to face off against you know who. #THWG

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets softball team will be on the road again. They’ve got a tough match up ahead of them as they face off against Troy (29-9). At 13-23 on the season, the Yellow Jackets are coming off a tough road trip that saw them drop three of four games to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. They’ll have two back-to-back games against Troy. The first game of the double header is set for today at 5:00 PM. The second game of the doubleheader is set for 7:30 PM. You can stream the game live on ESPN+. Afterwards, Tech will have a bit of a break before it hosts Virginia the weekend after next.

In some football news, Georgia Tech has lost one of its linebackers, likely for the season. As the article mentions, Tyson Meiguez suffered a torn ACL and will likely miss the entirety of the 2021 season. Meiguez posted about his injury on his Instagram account. Hopefully he has a quick and successful recovery.
