Well it’s been a minute since the last one, but Georgia Tech has a brand new commit!

Janiran Bonner, a wide receiver out of Cedar Grove High School, announced his commitment to Georgia Tech on Twitter today. He is rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals (5.8) and the 247 Sports Composite (0.9125) and committed to the Yellow Jackets over other reported offers from Oklahoma, UGA, LSU, and several other P5 schools. He is also scheduled to take his official visit to Tech on June 18.
According to his Hudl, Bonner stands at 6-2, 197, but I will say he looks a tad smaller on film, maybe closer to 6-0. That’s not a bad thing, just something I noticed. In his film, Bonner lines up both outside and in the slot, which is where he spends most of his time. From what I watched of this film, I think this is a really solid pick-up. He’s got pretty solid hands and is tough to bring down. I’m curious to see how he continues to develop through his senior season.
Welcome to the Flats, Janiran!
