At this point, I’m not sure if an official announcement has been made, but as this article states, at the time, it appears the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team could be picking up a significant transfer. Deivon Smith announced his intention to transfer but didn’t specify where he would commit to. Smith is a product of Grayson High which is in the Atlanta area. If he indeed plans to return home and to play at Tech it would be a significant addition to the team. The Yellow Jackets finished the season strong and qualified for their first NCAA tournament in years. Having a player like Smith would bolster a team that’s on the rise.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets softball team split its series with Louisville 2-2. They’ll next face off against Virginia Tech. It will be a road series for the team. The first game of the four-game series will be this Friday. Good luck to the softball team as they head up to Virginia.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women’s tennis team topped No. 46 Notre Dame on Sunday. The team also had defeated No. 50 Louisville over the weekend. They are currently ranked No. 15 in the country. The two matches closed out the regular season for the Yellow Jackets. On April 21st, the ACC Tennis Championships will get under way from Rome, Georgia. The schedule is still yet to be determined. Good luck to the Yellow Jackets as they head to Rome next week.

This would be a great pick up for the basketball team!
