Congratulations to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women’s basketball team on earning their first NCAA Tournament bid since 2014. The Yellow Jackets are seeded as No. 5. and they will open tournament play on Sunday against Stephen F. Austin who is the 12th ranked seed. Tip-off for the game will be at 4:30 PM and it will be televised on ESPNU. As the article mentions, the winner will move on to face the winner of the No. 4 seed West Virginia and No. 13 seed Lehigh game. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team are also heading to the big dance after an impressive win over the Florida State Seminoles in the ACC Championship game this past weekend. With the victory, the Yellow Jackets were guaranteed a spot in the NCAA Tournament. They are now the 9th seed and will face No. 8 seed Loyola of Chicago. What a way to end the season for the Georgia Tech women’s cross country team. They finished 20th in the women’s 6K championship. Senior Nicole Fegans had an outstanding showing finishing 12th individually. Congratulations to Fegans and the rest of the women’s cross country team on a strong finish to their season.
