South Florida native Jullian Lewis was the first (and so far, only) commit to the 2022 Georgia Tech Football recruiting class. Lewis plays wide receiver for Western High School in Fort Lauderdale, and had been committed to the Jackets since last September. Lewis is unrated in 247Sports’ composite rating, but is a three-star (5.5) by Rivals’ standards. This year, in three games for the Western Wildcats, Lewis had 22 receptions, 323 yards, and 4 touchdowns. His 247 profile lists offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, and Pittsburgh. Best of luck, Jullian!
After an incredible performance Wednesday night against Clemson, Tech F Moses Wright made it onto the ACC Network’s morning show, “Packer and Durham.” Wright got a chance to discuss his 21-point, 3 rebound performance against the Tigers, and the successful year he’s had so far. Wright is currently fifth in the ACC in points per game and leads the Jackets in scoring. Tech takes their first road trip in over a month this weekend, with a game tomorrow night against no. 13 Virginia (8 p.m. ET, ACCN). The Jackets will need Wright, and everyone else, to step up if they want to upset another top-25 team.

FINAL: Georgia Tech 73, Wake Forest 44
Nerea Hermosa finishes with 16 points and Lorela Cubaj posts another double-double to take home the road win. #TogetherWeSwarm #NellYeah pic.twitter.com/NrB8TUwbKa
After their own COVID-19 induced break, the Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball team came back with a bang. The ladies started off a little slow, but dominated the second half of the matchup for a 29-point victory. As the tweet above says, both Nerea Hermosa and Lorela Cubaj had great games, scoring in the double digits. Tech’s next contest is against Florida State this Sunday (1 p.m. ET, ACCNX).
Apparently John Heisman’s “Grey Devils” extended to the Tech softball team. In preparation for the start of the season in just a few weeks, the softball team released their (presumably alternate) uniform. Personally, I’m not a fan of uniforms that incorporate a color just to incorporate a color (GFGS-Grey for Grey’s Sake). However, the gold lettering does make these tolerable.

I’m not one to call out Georgia Tech, but our own Stephen Murphey did the Bernie meme much better in today’s lead art. (I realize that I criticized softball’s new uniforms above.)
Question of the Day: What are your predictions for tomorrow night’s game against Virginia?
