The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women’s basketball team got some disappointing news from the ACC. Their games against Syracuse and Virginia have been postponed due to the schools’ remaining in Covid-19 protocol. The Syracuse game was scheduled for tomorrow at McCamish Pavilion. The Virginia game was a road game originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 17. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any determination as to when the games will take place. The Yellow Jackets are 6-3 on the season and 4-2 in the ACC. According to the schedule on the team’s official site, their next scheduled game will be on Thursday, Jan. 21 and it’s a road game against Wake Forest.

Unfortunately, postponements have again affected the men’s basketball team as well. They were scheduled to host Pittsburgh this evening but that game was postponed. It is their third scheduled game in a row to be cancelled.

This article provides updates on some former Yellow Jacket golfers who are on the professional tours. Some of those to be mentioned in this edition include Richy Werenski and Stewart Cink who both fared well at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. In more #ProJackets news, Matt Kuchar will join both Werenski and Cink in Oahu as the Sony Open kicks off tomorrow at the Waiʻalae Country Club. Good luck to the three of them at they head to Hawaii for this week’s tournament.

While the ACC has been announcing postponements of both men’s and women’s basketball games, the Georgia Tech men’s tennis team just announced its 2021 schedule. As the article mentions, it includes thirteen ACC opponents and five top-25 ranked teams from last season. It looks like a tough schedule. Their season gets underway this weekend as they open it with the annual MLK Invitational Tournament on January 16-18. Good luck to them this weekend!
