This article does a great job of identifying three players who could make a big impact on the Yellow Jacket’s season. On offense Jordan Mason is an obvious choice. Having a solid run game (hopefully behind an improved offensive line) could take a lot of pressure off the passing game. The other two players identified were defensive players. David Curry and Juanyeh Thomas to be exact. Both of these players could play key roles in what’s expected to be a solid defense.

This article focuses on the Yellow Jackets’ running backs. Tech certainly has a lot of depth at that position. With Jordan Mason, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Jamious Griffin being the primary backs, offensive coordinator David Patenaude is very hopeful of this group. Ideally, with an improved offensive line, the Yellow Jackets will be more productive offensively this season. If they can get more productivity from the running backs the Yellow Jackets may be better off than most expect.

Week 2 of college football and, well, what fun is game week without some predictions. And it’s actually nice to come across an article that favors the Yellow Jackets. This article chooses Tech over FSU in the upcoming game on Saturday. Let’s hope it’s right.

With the season opener this weekend, all of today’s Tidbits articles were about football. So here’s one more with all the details regarding Saturday’s game. A couple of highlights from the article includes the historical tidbit regarding the GT and FSU rivalry. This is the first time the two schools have met since “Miracle on Techwood Drive”. The fact that Tech has a lot of returning talent from last season may be one of the biggest factors in how well it does this season. The 94% return rate on defense is significant. The defense likely will be a big factor in how the Yellow Jackets do this season.
