The UCF Knights are an offensive juggernaut and after last week’s win over the Yellow Jackets, they proved how their fast-paced approach can wear down a defense. It’s hard to imagine that they ran 92 offensive plays during that game. It was enough to overwhelm the Yellow Jackets defense. As the article points out, though, and as defensive coordinator Andew Thacker implies, the defense will learn from its mistakes. Interestingly, Syracuse, though not near the offensive powerhouse that UCF is, does have a similarly fast-paced approach to its offensive and how it runs plays. So, the UCF game may have been the perfect tune-up for the Tech defense. It will be interesting to see how they respond in Saturday’s game.
Volleyball at Tech is back. The season kicks off tonight as the Yellow Jackets travel to Coral Gables, Florida to face off against ACC rival Miami. As the article says, there are two matches, one on the 24th and one on the 25th of September. Both of the matches start at 6:00 PM EST. Thursday’s game will be broadcast on the ACC Network and Friday’s game will be on ACC Network Extra. It’s good to see Fall sports getting ramped up. #GoJackets
With the social distancing measures and safety precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 has become a lot like 1918 when the Spanish Flu Pandemic broke out. This photo proves it. Everyone has probably seen the nostalgic photograph of Georgia Tech fans attending a game at Bobby Dodd Stadium during that period. The very same family of the individual(s) in that photo were able to recreate that iconic image. It was arranged by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association and one of the family members. That is just awesome.

And in case you like to get your Tech news from the radio. Any predictions for the final score of Saturday’s game? I’m going to say Georgia Tech over Syracuse 28-17.
