As the article mentions, on Monday women’s tennis associate head coach Christy Lynch was named as the new head coach at Clemson. Lynch was part of Tech’s 2007 NCAA National Championship team. Well, this is an older article from last week, but I think it’s just as relevant today, especially considering the recent news of Tech athletes who tested positive for COVID-19. The article’s title pretty much sums it up. As fast as the virus has been spreading as of late it seems like deciding to wear a mask or not would be a no-brainer. And as the article says, at least do it for the sake of the football season. This no sports thing is getting old.
