Technical Tidbits 7/29: The View From The Bench

Who ever said that riding the bench has to be boring? This article features a bunch of photos from the Yellow Jacket men’s basketball team 2019 season. In the one photo with head coach Josh Pastner holding the card with the “Kill the board” caption, it looks like they are playing charades. Though I think Pastner has a different game in mind. Anyhow, it definitely looks like everyone was enjoying themselves.

In Yellow Jackets women’s basketball news, head coach Nell Fortner announced the addition of a new assistant coach. Murriel Page is moving to Tech from her former post at Central Michigan University. She will be bringing a lot of experience including her time as a player in the WNBA and coaching experience that includes conference and tournament championships as an assistant at CMU. Welcome to the Flats!

Well, the football freshmen have arrived on campus. This article features video highlights from their move in. This is part of the second phase of the return to campus, as pointed out in the article. Ahh, nothing like moving into the dorms after a summer break. For former Tech students out there, what’s your favorite dorm or residence hall?
