Sebastian Sagar becomes the 17th addition of the 2021 class. He is the second linebacker of the class as well as the third player from Grayson. He lists at 6’4” 215lbs with a composite 3-Star rating from 247 and a 2-Star rating from Rivals. While he does grade a bit lower than others in the class it is good to keep in mind that the ranking this year may not be the best indicator. His offer list reveals a few other Power 5 schools like Miami and West Virginia to consider that others see him as a talent who could be above his current rating.
Sagar has a good burst of speed of the line for his size. He possesses a good awareness for the ball as play actions and fakes seem not to fool him from his assignment. Having his special teams highlights included speaks to his effort he gives on every play and even shows multiple blocked field goals. Georgia Tech would do well to take any solid additions to its coverage units and Sagar appears he can do that. He does tackle high but that can be worked on as he develops into a nice addition for the linebacker unit.
Welcome to The Flats, Sebastian!
