This is great news and well deserved by Jordan Mason. As the article mentions he is on the watch-list for the 2020 Doak Walker Award. This award is given to college football’s top running back and the winner will be announced during a ceremony in December. Mason was one of the prominent players on Tech’s team last season. He racked up some great stats including three games where he rushed for over 100 yards.
This article caught my eye as I was expecting it to be about Bobby Dodd Stadium. Instead it’s about a $9 million renovation of Russ Chandler Stadium. The article states: “The improvements are aimed at supporting player development, enhancing the fan experience, and celebrating the Yellow Jackets’ rich baseball history.” The baseball program has generated a lot of buzz and I think it’s a wise decision to make improvements to the stadium.
Just had to weigh in on this article. Hopefully they figure something out and Clean, Old-Fashioned, Hate will not be cancelled. The football season would just not be the same without it.
Congratulations to Chaunté Lowe and Jacob Tzegaegbe. The Georgia Tech alumni were named to the inaugural class of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s 40 Under 40. They’re recognized for their positive impact as community and industry leaders.
Very proud that 2 former student-athletes are among the 1st @gtalumni 40 Under 40 class! @GTAthletics’ differentiator is what our student-athletes are able to do 5, 10 & 15 years after they leave The Flats.
