This article breaks down Geoff Collins’ approach for Tech’s upcoming voluntary on-campus program. It’s set to begin on June 15, and as the article mentions the participation will include around 20 or so players and the roster size will be about 105 — this doesn’t include incoming freshmen. According to a statement by Collins, “There’s all kinds of things that are being put in place to make sure the guys are safe and healthy.” It seems like that there’s a good strategy and the coaching staff has thought this through. Understandably, reducing the risk of coronavirus infection must be among the team’s highest priorities.

Congratulations to Drew Compton (first baseman), Stephen Reid (designated hitter ) and Dalton Smith (pitcher). They were named to the 2020 Freshman All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball. The announcement was made Tuesday. As the article states Tech had more selections to the All-Americans team then Georgia Tech. #GoJackets

Here’s another edition of the “Around the Green” video series, the best way to get to know your Tech golfers in under 45-seconds. This edition features Connor Howe from Ogden, Utah. Howe seems to be another Coke over Pepsi golfer. I wonder if Coke headquarters being in Atlanta has anything to do with it, but of course not, that’s not without considering how much better Coke is than Pepsi.

This was perhaps one of my favorite games of the basketball season. Tech’s stunning victory over the fifth ranked Louisville Cardinals at McCamish Pavilion will be a memorable one. They won the game 64-58. The article features some of the video highlights from the game.
