Geoff Collins gained his second defensive end of the 2021 recruiting cycle Wednesday, with the commitment of Joshua Robinson. Robinson is a composite three-star recruit out of Douglas County High School in Douglasville, GA. Besides Georgia Tech, Robinson was also recruited by Arkansas, Florida State, and Michigan (among many others).
Robinson looks huge on film, according to his 247Sports profile he stands at 6’ 4”. Size is a big priority of the Georgia Tech coaching staff when recruiting players, and while Robinson does look a little stiff, there’s a lot of potential for development. The length he brings to the table is an unteachable ability.
Tech will have multiple defensive ends graduate after this season, so there’s definitely a chance Robinson sees the field early in his Tech career.
