The Tech commitments continue to roll in. Yesterday marked the 13th commitment of the football team’s 2021 recruiting class when Westlake High wide receiver and tight end Leo Blackburn announced he would commit to Georgia Tech. A three star recruit standing at 6’5” and 217 pounds, Blackburn will add depth to the receiving corp and his versatility as a receiver and tight end makes him a significant pick up for the team. As the article mentions, Blackburn is the second Westlake High recruit to commit in as many weeks. And there are still a couple more recruits who the Yellow Jackets have their eyes on. Hopefully things work out and they can all end up reuniting at Tech.

Welcome to the Flats!
Here’s another “Around the Green” episode this time featuring Tech golfer Bartley Forrester. Forrester is a redshirt freshman and was one of Georgia’s top golf prospects On top of that he’s also a star student. And considering he chose Coke over Pepsi and likes Breaking Bad, he must be a fairly smart individual, though personally I think Better Call Saul is on par with if not better than Breaking Bad.
Well, apparently there was a contest for best story related to Tech’s big win over No. 1 ranked Virginia in 1990. That game was part of Tech’s campaign that saw them claim the National Championship that season. This article features the winning stories from the contest, so give them a read to relive some wonderful Yellow Jacket memories.
There’s probably not enough you can say about Moses Wright and how much he has improved his game. This article features a video interview with Wright and some pictures from his breakout season.
