Georgia Tech's 2021 recruiting is starting to heat up as recruits have been rolling in. The eleventh commit comes from across the country from Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, CA. Quarterback Chayden Peery lists at 6'3" 215 pounds with 247 giving him a composite 3-star ranking as the 23rd overall pro-style quarterback. Peery holds offers from five ACC schools so his talents have been recognized on the East Coast. It should be noted too that he holds offers from several Ivy schools.

Chayden Peery brings a style of play that Tech faithful haven't seen in quite a while. Even in the new regime running was still part of the repertoire for QBs. Peery is clearly a drop back passer and has an arm that can hit any target on the field. He easily throws the deep ball as well as threading the ball through defenders to his receivers. He has the potential to be even better as many of his throws are made without his feet being set. Only throwing one interception this past season shows good poise and reading defenses. The quarterback room will only be pushed harder as the competition could run four deep next season.
Welcome to The Flats, Chayden Peery!
