Technical Tidbits 4/9: More Video Highlights And Archives

Relive highlights from Tech’s women’s basketball big win over Syracuse.

NCAA Womens Basketball: ACC Tournament - N.C. State vs Georgia Tech Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

In case you haven’t found any Tech video archives to get your fix of sports highlights, here is one worth considering. It’s a video highlighting the women’s basketball team’s first ever win over Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. The game took place on January 16th of this year. The Yellow Jackets won the game in a blowout victory over Syracuse. The final score was 82-64.

If photos are your preferred way to relive your favorite sports memories, this article features several from the Yellow Jacket’s cross-country and indoor men’s & women’s long distance squads.

As mentioned in this article, Georgia Tech has made the top six list for one recruit. Skyler Bell of Watertown, Conneticutt has winded down his schools to the following:

  • Georgia Tech
  • Iowa
  • Virginia Tech
  • Rutgers
  • Northwestern
  • Wake Forest

Bell is quoted as saying Tech has “[t]he type of place and people I would love to be around.” Hope to see him on the Flats!

Here’s a short video and article on Tech’s senior golfer and “big man on the campus” Tyler Strafaci. Strafaci finished last season as Tech’s second highest ranked player as the article mentions. It’s hard to watch that video and not want to go out and play a round of golf. With that in mind, what activity are you the most enthusiastic about being able to do again once the coronavirus pandemic allows us to return to our normal routines?
