This was an interesting piece on Baron Radcliff. The junior outfielder is looking to have a major impact this season. As mentioned in the article, Radcliff was a former high school football quarterback at Norcross High. At 6’4” and 239 pounds, Radcliff is quite the athletic specimen. One has to wonder if Yellow Jackets football coach Geoff Collins hasn’t at least considered enticing Radcliff to put on the pads once again. It seems, though, Radcliff has thought through his plan for his future, including both his education and his baseball career. Good luck to him and the rest of the Yellow Jackets baseball team as they start the new season today.

This was a quick interview with Georgia Tech basketball player Shaheed Medlock. Being that he is from Chicago, I wasn’t surprised to find out he is a Michael Jordan fan. The yoga bit however did catch me off guard.

The 2020 men’s baseball season gets off to a start today with the Atlanta Challenge. The Yellow Jackets will host the Saint Peter’s Peacocks today. Tomorrow they’ll face off against the Cincinnati Bearcats. Then on Sunday they’ll face the St. John’s Red Storm. The Yellow Jackets start the season ranked No. 19 and look to defend their ACC Coastal Division crown. #GoJackets

This article broke down some of the key factors that may shape the Yellow Jackets baseball team’s season. Basically it comes down to making up for the lost talent, Tech’s pitching, and overcoming a tough schedule. Hopefully the Yellow Jackets can be as successful this year as they were last year.

Of course this is old news, but it just feels too good not to mention it again. The Yellow Jackets surprise upset victory over fifth ranked Louisville was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully this can help the team gain some momentum as they head into the final few games of the season.
