This is an interesting article that focuses on one of head coach Josh Pastner’s goals for the Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team. It does seem trivial and definitely a baby-step, but being able to get a bye in the opening round could present a significant advantage. Right now, Tech is in a three-way tie for 10th place in the ACC with Pittsburgh and Boston College. Of those two teams, Pitt is among Tech’s remaining opponents in the seven games left in the regular season. So they’ll definitely need to win that one. Today’s game against No. 5 Louisville will be the most difficult, but I don’t think it’s impossible. As the article points out, the Yellow Jackets nearly pulled off an upset the last time they played Louisville this season. What do you think of Tech’s chances tonight? Can they pull off the upset?

Speaking of the Louisville game, this article has all the information you’ll need for tonight’s showdown at McCamish Pavilion. Tip-off is set for 8:00 PM. The Cardinals are on a hot streak, so the Yellow Jackets will have to be sharp to pull off an upset. The game will be broadcast by the ACC Network. Good luck to the Yellow Jackets!

There’s definitely some good advice in this article: “it’s important to have short memory in baseball”. As we all remember, it was a disappointing end to the season and the Yellow Jackets playoff run back in June of last year. This isn’t the same team coming into the 2020 season, but the article does a great job of pointing out some of its strong points.

Here’s a nice article that talks about one of the Yellow Jackets major signings of the 2020 recruiting class: running back Jahmyr Gibbs. The running game and its potential to shape Tech’s offense is something I’m certainly excited about and looking forward to seeing in the 2020 season.
