Christmas has passed and I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday however it was spent. Looking forward to New Year’s and 2021, I thought it would be fun to ask, what do you think would be an appropriate New Year resolution for your favorite Yellow Jackets team?
The next to last week of the NFL regular season has passed and it was a pretty busy week for former Yellow Jackets who turned professional. Among the names to have a significant impact are Adam Gotsis and Nathan Cottrell of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jeremiah Attaochu of the Denver Broncos, and Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs. Personally, I didn’t watch all the games, but I did see Butker in action against the Falcons and he was clutch as usual. Also, I think Darren Waller had a strong performance in the thrilling game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Miami Dolphins.
It was a short offseason for NBA players, but the new NBA season is here. Former Yellow Jackets Derrick Favors and Josh Okogie of the Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves, respectively, each got a win in their season openers, as the article mentions. Among some other former Yellow Jackets to be mentioned in the article are Thaddeus Young of the Chicago Bulls and Thaddeus Young of the Utah Jazz.
As this article mentions, although the Yellow Jackets golf team hasn’t participated in any event since March, various team members have been busy participating in amateur events. This includes Noah Norton, Connor Howe, Andy Mao, who are going to compete in the Patriot All-America Invitational. Also, Will Dickson and Ben Smith will participate in the Orlando (Fla.) International Amateur. Good luck to them in these upcoming events.
