Perhaps the only Georgia Tech football player to improve his draft stock this season, P Pressley Harvin III has garnered a well-deserved accolade from the AP. The senior has been named to their First-Team All-ACC with the likes of QB Trevor Lawrence and LB Chazz Surratt. Along with AP First-Team All-ACC recognition, Harvin is a semi-finalist for the annual Ray Guy Award after breaking the ACC’ single-season punting average record. Vote for him at this link. Congratulations, Pressley!

Incoming freshman QB Chayden Peery is one of the first significant Tech recruits from the West Coast since Lucas Johnson came to Atlanta in 2016. While Peery did not get to have a senior season due to the COVID-19 situation in California, he had an incredible junior year. Playing for Sierra Canyon High School, Peery had over 3,000 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and only one interception. Luckily for the Jackets, Peery will be arriving on the Flats in January, giving him more time to prepare for the 2021 season in a collegiate environment. Check out more on Chayden in the article above!

Our own Jeff Cramer did a rundown of Tech’s 2020 season, looking at our expectations going into the year, what transpired, and how different facets of the team played. While some struggles can be blamed on COVID-19 restrictions, a majority cannot, like the failure of the placekicking unit and the massive amount of penalties the Jackets incurred. Automatically giving up close to 100 yards per game due to procedural errors is not a sustainable way of play for any football team. These are simple aspects of the game that must be cleaned up for Geoff Collins & co. to take a big leap forward in 2021.

Tech Golf Coach Bruce Heppler has only Baseball Coach Danny Hall to compete with for the title of “Most Successful Coach Currently at Georgia Tech.” Leading the golf team for over 25 seasons, Heppler has led the team to countless team and individual tournament titles, ACC Championships, and NCAA Championship appearances. That’s not to mention the many professional golfers that Heppler has developed and mentored over the years. Recently, Heppler sat down with the “Voice of the Yellow Jackets,” Andy Demetra, to give some insight on 2020 for the Tech Golf team and what’s happening in the future for the Jackets. Give it a watch!

It is official, Pressley Harvin III is headed for the League!

Question of the Day: How do you want to see Tech adjust for a better chance at success in 2021?
