It was a good weekend for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team. On Friday they defeated the Florida A&M Rattlers. The final score was 74-64. As this recap points out, four Yellow Jackets scored in double figures. The team fought off a late surge by the Rattlers to make a comeback. The Yellow Jackets shot 47.4 percent from the field which isn’t great but it was enough for the team to secure a victory.

I mentioned it was a good weekend for the Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team. They capped it off with another victory last night. Tech defeated the Delaware State Hornets in convincing fashion. The final score was 97-69. Like the Florida A&M game, four Yellow Jackets scored in double figures in this game as well. Jost Alvarado led all scorers with a total of 29 points. He also had five assists and two steals and rebounds. This article features several photos from that game. With the win the Yellow Jackets have now improved to 4-3 on the season. Their next game will be on Wednesday as they travel to take on the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers.
